A good place to start is treating your own person as you would do it with your best friend. In many cases, people treat others better than they treat themselves, and that’s unfortunate. For example, if your best girl friend would talk with you and complain that she’s put on weight and that she’s fat, you’re probably going to cheer her up, advise her and support her. Now, why wouldn’t you do the same for yourself, cheering yourself up.
The first step towards loving yourself would be to be kind and loving (yes, with yourself). Get yourself in a great bubble bath, sensual and luxurious, relax and just enjoy your time. Lots of people will relax a lot when they’re in a bath and they are able to think about what’s great in their lives. If you do that, it will be so much easier to appreciate what you have. Another option is to just go to a movie you wanted to see for a long time or to go to a mall to get a makeover at a cosmetic counter.
There are a lot of options, as people have a lot of things that will make them feel loved and good. One example might seem silly to you, but you can put on some sexy plus sized lingerie, turn on some music that you love and just dance around. Dancing around the house, while wearing hot plus size lingerie is a great way to improve your mood, and it works whenever you need it. Just keep in mind that life should be enjoyed, not spent worrying. Try to be silly sometimes, it can help.

Everyone comes into this world with a certain body shape, ether your a tall, short skinny or plus size, everyone has their unique figure, and what comes with this is in mind, is finding the clothing that flaunts and suites your body shape. I’m sure their are many times that you loved a certain type of trendy clothing, that set you in the must have mind set, but to a disappointment, when you looked in the mirror, your mind went from love it to love to hate it! There are three basic body shapes: pear, apple, and the hourglass figure. Most women are the apple and pear body types. On apple shape the upper body is larger than the lower body, when on pear shape is the opposite. An apple shaped women needs to draw attention to the lower body. That is why shoes are very important when dressing it adds length, to the body which gives a more even look . Flare/wide leg pants are also a must have in the wardrobe, which i have a million pairs, and love in any size group! A pear body type is the most common shape on women. Women with an hourglass body shape are sometimes referred to as having a Figure Eight shape or an X-shape.

- Your back tends to be broad and fleshly.
- Your arms could be slim while your shoulders could be wide.

- De-emphasize the tummy and draw the attention away from the midriff section

Really, I recommend to step out of this trend of over size clothing, take your time and experiment with different items and even go for things that fit a little tighter, more colors and learn that its ok to flaunt what you have just like any other girl! Any woman, even a plus size one can learn how to dress and gain more confidence. The first step is to really look in the mirror to observe your body. You must not be ashamed, no matter your body type or your weight. Always trust yourself, trust your instinct. You’ll know what clothes are the best for you if you really look at yourself when you wear them.
